"Due to the Emergency Order from the Wayne County Health Department, we will continue to meet virtually for the months of April and May. The link is in the information below."
Above it shows the location of each board meeting. We will continue to offer a virtual option based on providing the safest access to the participants and the public. When in-person contact can be avoided and purposeful business continued, it is our intent to avoid it. We will also follow the guidance on the number of public guests that can be in person at one time.
Virtual Board Meeting Guidelines
Mute Guests: Once the meeting is called to order all guests should be muted and only turned on when provided opportunity to speak.
Open Public Comment: If guests would like to speak during the open public comment they should raise their hand. Public comment remains 3 minutes to speak. All the same rules apply as in the in-person meeting.
Removal of Guests: If a guest is disrupting the meeting they can be removed from the meeting.
"These meetings of the Board of Directors are in public for the purpose of conducting the school’s business and are not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during each meeting as indicated in the agenda.
Upon request to the academy office, the academy shall make reasonable accommodations for a person with a disability to be able to participate in this meeting."
